Japan and India have reaffirmed their commitment to an open, free, secure, stable, peaceful and accessible cyberspace, enabling economic growth and innovation. In the Second Japan-India Cyber Dialogue held in New Delhi yesterday, the two sides, reaffirmed in particular that existing international law is generally applicable in cyberspace and no country should conduct or support ICT-enabled theft of intellectual property, including trade secrets with the intent of providing competitive advantages to its companies or commercial sectors. The Indian delegation also made a presentation on the 5th Global Conference on Cyber Space to be held in New Delhi from 23rd to 24th of November this year.
