International Biodiversity Day The day is observed on 22nd May every year to increase understanding and awareness of biodiversity issues. It marks the 25th anniversary of the entry into force of the Convention on Biological Diversity and to highlight progress made in the achievement of its objectives at the national and global levels. The theme this year is, 'Celebrating 25 Years of Action for Biodiversity'.

World Mental Health Day is observed on 10 October every year, with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health. The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.

In India 10th October is marked as the Indian National postal day. Yesterday October 9 was the World Postal Day marked by the United Nations.
