India successfully test-fires 'Dhanush' missile

India today successfully test-fired the nuclear-capable surface-to-surface Dhanush ballistic missile with a strike range of 350 km from a naval ship off Odisha coast at around 1052 hrs. This naval variant of the indigenously-developed Prithvi-II missile was test-fired from the ship positioned near Paradip in the Bay of Bengal. 'Dhanush' missile has a length of 8.53 meters and 0.9 metre wide is capable of carrying a payload of 500 kg and hitting both land and sea-based targets.

Canadian Prime Minister on his week long visit to India

The most popular Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on his one week visit to India with family and has met the Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi, where they conducted extensive talks for nearly two hours, exploring ways to boost ties in several key areas, including trade and energy. NITI Aayog: “Healthy States, Progressive India” Report

On Tuesday, Feb. 6th, Falcon Heavy successfully lifted off from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Spacex's Falcon Heavy is the most powerful operational rocket in the world by a factor of two, with the ability to lift into orbit nearly 64 metric tons (141,000 lb)--a mass greater than a 737 jetliner loaded with passengers, crew, luggage and fuel.
