In Arunachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Pema Khandu today inaugurated the state's first Inter State Bus Terminous, ISBT, at Lekhi village in Naharlagun. Mr Khnadu on the occasion said that the ISBT will largely benefit the people by reducing vehicular traffic pressure in the twin city of Itanagar and Naharlagun.
He informed that government has asked the Union Railway Ministry to increase the service of the intercity Shatabdi express from Guwahati to Naharlagun to 5 days in a week from the present 3 days. The Chief Minister also said that UDAAN - regional flight connectivity services will soon be started in the state.
