Shooter Maheshwari Chauhan bagged a bronze medal at the Asian Shotgun Championship to earn India's first women's skeet individual medal at a top international competition in Astana.
Yesterday, Maheshwari also led India to the team silver alongside compatriots Rashmmi Rathore and Saniya Sheikh.
The trio shot a total of 190, finishing behind Goldmedalists China, who shot 195. Hosts Kazakhstan won the bronze
shooting 185.
India's tally now stands at two gold, a silver and three bronze medals.
